The Keenon DINERBOT T10 is a feature rich serving robot with a 23.8 inch screen for promotions, an 88 pound load and elevator support through US integrators. It suits restaurants and venues that want on screen marketing and multi floor delivery, but at $18,400 it costs nearly twice as much as a Bear Servi, and reseller prices and specs conflict.
What the Keenon DINERBOT T10 is
The DINERBOT T10 is a serving robot from Keenon Robotics. It drives plates to tables, then returns to its post. Keenon lists it at 48.6 by 55.5 by 139.9 cm (about 19 by 22 by 55 inches), weighing 58 kg (128 pounds), with a total load of 40 kg (88 pounds) Keenon T10 ↗.
Its standout feature is a 23.8 inch display, which restaurants can use for interactive buttons, menus or promotions Keenon T10 ↗. It also has a movable head that responds to movement and touch, plus customizable expressions, voices and skins Keenon T10 ↗.
In the US, it is sold through integrators such as RobotLAB RobotLAB T10 ↗ RobotLAB delivery robots ↗. Hands on testing is in progress, and we will update this review with our results.
What it does well
Capacity is strong. An 88 pound load matches Bear's high capacity Servi Plus and is well above the 66 pounds of the standard two tray Servi Keenon T10 ↗ Bear Servi Plus ↗ Bear Servi ↗.
Pickup is designed for self service. The T10 has an open access tray with visual detection, tray lights, on screen guidance and voice prompts, and Keenon lists AI tray detection Keenon T10 ↗. That helps guests know which plate to take without a server walking over.
Navigation is thorough. Keenon lists 360 degree recognition from four stereo vision sensors, VSLAM and an RGB camera, along with its own route planning algorithms Keenon T10 ↗. RobotLAB lists LiDAR and VSLAM for obstacle avoidance RobotLAB T10 ↗. Several T10s can work together through multi robot dispatching Keenon T10 ↗.
Multi floor support is a real plus. RobotLAB lists elevator integration, door opener integration and multi floor support, and says it is compatible with RobotLAB Smart Pass RobotLAB T10 ↗. That makes the T10 a candidate for hotels, banquet venues and restaurants with more than one level.
Keenon rates the battery at 9 to 12.5 hours, with a 5.5 hour charge and a top speed of 1 meter per second Keenon T10 ↗.
Where it falls short
Price is the main drawback. RobotLAB lists it at $18,400, against $9,990 for the Bear Servi and $13,990 for Servi+ on the same list RobotLAB delivery robots ↗. For most dining rooms, the screen and head are nice extras rather than must haves.
The numbers do not all agree. RobotLAB's T10 page shows $18,400 in its header and spec table but $13,500 in its FAQ RobotLAB T10 ↗. Its battery figure of 6 to 8 hours is also lower than Keenon's 9 to 12.5 hours Keenon T10 ↗ RobotLAB T10 ↗. Get a written quote and ask which battery figure applies to the unit you will receive.
It needs space. The minimum passage width is 59 cm, about 23 inches Keenon T10 ↗. That is wider than the smallest Servi setup and far wider than Bear's new Servi Q, which fits 18 inch gaps Bear Servi Plus ↗ Servi Q announcement ↗.
Keenon's page lists a slope angle field with no value, and RobotLAB does not list a warranty Keenon T10 ↗ RobotLAB T10 ↗. Ask about both before buying.
Pricing and plans
RobotLAB lists the T10 from $18,400 to buy or $519 a month on robot as a service RobotLAB T10 ↗ RobotLAB delivery robots ↗. Its category page shows these plans on 36 month terms RobotLAB delivery robots ↗. Over 36 months, $519 a month adds up to $18,684, about the same as buying.
RobotLAB says purchase, lease and robot as a service options are available, with terms by quote, and that a written quote follows within one business day RobotLAB T10 ↗. It handles delivery, on site setup, staff training and ongoing service RobotLAB T10 ↗.
A warranty term is not stated on the pages we read RobotLAB T10 ↗ RobotLAB delivery robots ↗. RobotLAB's Standard service plan costs $199 a month per unit for buyers and leasers and covers support, software updates, parts and labor, and a loaner if downtime runs past 48 hours; robot as a service plans include it RobotLAB delivery robots ↗. Budget for that if you buy outright, since it adds $7,164 over three years.
Who should (and shouldn't) use it
- Good fit: restaurants and venues that want to show menus, specials or ads on the robot itself.
- Good fit: multi floor restaurants and hotels that need elevator and door integration RobotLAB T10 ↗.
- Skip it if: you only need plates moved on one floor; a Bear Servi does that for about half the price RobotLAB delivery robots ↗.
- Skip it if: your aisles are narrower than about 23 inches Keenon T10 ↗.
