OUR VERDICT

The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR320 is a wire free robot mower that navigates with cloud RTK and a stereo camera, so there is no boundary wire and no antenna to install. Bob Vila named it the easiest to set up of the mowers it tested. At about $1,250 it is a good choice for flat lawns up to half an acre, but its two wheel drive, 30 percent slope limit and one hour runtime rule it out for hilly or large yards.

What the Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR320 is

The WR320 is a 2026 robot lawn mower from Worx Smart Home Compared ↗. It finds its way using cloud RTK, which gets precise positioning over the internet instead of from a reference antenna in your yard, with a stereo camera and V SLAM as a fallback Smart Home Compared ↗. It needs no perimeter wire Smart Home Compared ↗.

Its AI vision treats anything that is not grass or leaves as an obstacle, which also covers pets and children through obstacle avoidance Smart Home Compared ↗. It has a lift and tilt sensor and an emergency stop button Smart Home Compared ↗.

It is rated for lawns up to half an acre and slopes up to 30 percent, or about 17 degrees Smart Home Compared ↗. It runs on a swappable 20V, 5Ah PowerShare battery that also fits Worx cordless tools Smart Home Compared ↗.

What it does well

Setup is the standout. Bob Vila tested seven wire free mowers and gave the WR320 its Easiest Setup award, with a top score of 5 out of 5 for setup and mapping Bob Vila ↗. Its testers found the app easy to navigate and said the mower needed very little attention once configured Bob Vila ↗.

There is nothing to install in the yard. No wire to bury and no RTK antenna to mount saves an afternoon of work and a common source of problems Smart Home Compared ↗. Worx says the cloud RTK carries no additional cloud costs Smart Home Compared ↗.

The app is flexible. You can set unlimited zones with custom paths, draw no go areas, and set a different cutting height for each zone Smart Home Compared ↗. Scheduling adapts to the weather, and there is a rain sensor Smart Home Compared ↗. It works with Alexa through an official skill and with Home Assistant through community integrations Smart Home Compared ↗.

The battery is practical. Because it is a standard Worx PowerShare pack, you can swap in a charged spare instead of waiting Smart Home Compared ↗. A RadioLink module is included to extend range beyond Wi Fi Smart Home Compared ↗.

It is easy to keep clean. The deck is rated IPX6, so you can wash it Smart Home Compared ↗.

Where it falls short

Slopes and thick grass are a weakness. It is two wheel drive with a 30 percent slope limit Smart Home Compared ↗. Bob Vila saw it struggle for traction in thick grass along some lawn edges and suggested all wheel drive models for difficult terrain Bob Vila ↗. It scored 3.5 out of 5 for performance Bob Vila ↗.

Runtime is short. The battery runs about 60 minutes and takes about 100 minutes to charge, so a half acre lawn needs several sessions Smart Home Compared ↗. Bob Vila also noted range limits on large properties Bob Vila ↗.

Connectivity is limited. It uses 2.4 GHz Wi Fi only and has no 4G, so it must stay within Wi Fi or RadioLink range Smart Home Compared ↗. It does not support Apple Home, SmartThings or Matter Smart Home Compared ↗.

Some parts cost extra. The Cut to Zero edge blade and the light module are sold separately, and without lights it works best in daytime Smart Home Compared ↗. The cutting width is a narrow 8.7 inches Smart Home Compared ↗.

Lawn size claims vary by retailer. Bob Vila noted some store listings describe it for a quarter acre or less, which conflicts with the half acre rating Bob Vila ↗. Hands on testing is in progress; we will update this review with results.
