Ecovacs makes home cleaning robots. Its main line is DEEBOT, a range of robot vacuums that also mop, and its US store also sells WINBOT window cleaning robots and GOAT robot lawn mowers Ecovacs DEEBOT ↗ WINBOT W2 Pro Omni ↗ Smart Home Compared ↗.
Current DEEBOT models on the US store range from the T90 MAX PLUS OMNI at $549.99 up to the X12S PRO OMNI at $1,299.99, with bundles above that Ecovacs DEEBOT ↗. Most current models use OZMO roller mops instead of spinning pads, and many have docks that empty the dust bin, wash the mop with hot water and dry it with hot air Ecovacs DEEBOT ↗.

What it does well

Where it falls short
Lab results are uneven. In CHOICE's head to head, Roborock consistently picked up more sand on hard floors, and some Ecovacs models scored highly while others did poorly CHOICE ↗. Both brands struggled on carpet, with neither scoring over 50 percent CHOICE ↗. Mopping results varied too much to name a winner CHOICE ↗.
The warranty is short. New Ecovacs products carry a 12 month limited warranty in the US, refurbished products get 3 months, and batteries and side brushes are treated as consumables Ecovacs warranty ↗. Some rivals offer more; Dreame's US store sells its robots with a 3 year warranty Dreame ↗.
Popular models sell out. The T90 Pro Omni, the model with the best independent scores, was listed as sold out at $799.99 on Ecovacs' US store when we checked Ecovacs T90 Pro Omni ↗.
The store does not list suction for each model. It quotes a general range of about 8,000 to 20,000 Pa without matching figures to models Ecovacs DEEBOT ↗.
Pricing and plans
Current DEEBOT prices on Ecovacs' US store when we checked: T90 MAX PLUS OMNI $549.99 (list $699.99); T90S PRO OMNI $899.99; X12S OmniCyclone and X12S PRO OMNI $1,299.99 each; and an X12 OmniCyclone bundle at $934, down from $1,550 Ecovacs DEEBOT ↗. Ecovacs sells through its own store and retailers. CHOICE found Ecovacs prices in Australia from just over $250 for the Deebot N20 to $3,000 for the Deebot X11 OmniCyclone CHOICE ↗.
The US warranty is 12 months on new products and 3 months on certified refurbished ones, valid only for products bought from Ecovacs or its dealers and used in the US or Canada Ecovacs warranty ↗.
